Thought leaders in information technologies and life sciences presented and discussed their research findings with other scientists, scholars and engineers at a symposium held on June 12-13, 2015 in Edison, NJ. The forum was a combined meeting: the 24th Northeast Regional Conference of the New Jersey and Metro New York Chapters of the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) and the Spring Symposium of the Korean American Society in Biotech and Pharmaceuticals (KASBP)
The theme of the conference was Convergence and Interdisciplinary of Information Technology and Biotechnology. In roundtables, presentations and informal networking sessions, attendees explored the many promising innovations in medical research and development being pursued in the United States and Korea.
Yun H. Choe, Ph.D., a Registered Patent Agent and Scientific Advisor at the intellectual property law firm Lucas & Mercanti, and also 1st Vice President of KASBP and a member of the Advisory Council of KSEA, was a member of the conference organizing committee.
